Sigh

I don’t mind the random searching at Penn station, I guess I accepted it as part of the world we live in. I have been searched a few times, it’s out of the way and quick. They wipe your bag with some cloth, maybe ask for a glance inside, and you’re off. However this morning policemen with bomb/drug dogs were just milling about through the rush hour crowd. I was sniffed by two dogs, both times I was asked to stop so I could be checked.

Civil liberties are not taken away in a day they are slowly eroded. In order to enter the Meadowlands for Jets games I submit to pat downs. How long until we are subjected to random pat downs at Penn Station? How long until we have to present a fingerprint in order to use the ticket machine? Ok I’m done.
