This past weekend we had record amounts of rainfall in the area. It rained hard all day Sunday, Sunday night, Monday… Anyway the lake was getting pretty high, and I snapped a picture of the aftermath to give an idea of how much extra water there was.
The line in the grass is a general idea of how high the lake was. Also, if you can see across the lake there is a sidewalk, that was completely submerged. Needless to say I was a little nervous =). Fortunately once the rain stopped, the water level went back down rather quickly.
