Museum Natural History

We went to the Natural History museum this weekend to check it out. I had never been there before, at least as far as I can remember. It was way bigger than I had expected, and all of the exhibits we got to see were interesting. I particularly enjoyed the dinosaurs! Since the Stegosaurus is my favorite dinosaur, I had Sarah snap a picture of me standing next to one. It’s so cool to think that there was a time that these huge beasts roamed the earth. Another neat thing in the dinosaur/fossil exhibit was the skeleton of a mammoth as well as a piece of skin that was frozen in ice. It was a mammoth’s face and part of its trunk, really unbelievable to think how old that is. Plus, they had found blood vessels in the skin (Jurassic Park time!). I wonder what life would be like if dinosaurs still roamed the earth? I still like to think there is a part of the earth we have yet to find that might still have dinosaurs on it. Especially a Stegosaurus, that thing would MESS YOU UP!
